Lori here, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are taking some much needed time with family. I have been spending this week with my boys and enjoying the holiday season.

I wanted to share with you all how you can still use some of that leftover 21-inch mesh that you have lying around and not have to waste it. How we are going to do this is first by making our wreath frame using the Dollar Tree frame & some pipe cleaners.

After we have our frame all finished we are going to cut our mesh 15″ inches now its best if you have a couple of colors that go well together I am using jute mesh bot one with a white or cream to it. We will need 18 of them cut at 15″ inches.

After they are cut I will take the mesh and fold over the end about and inch or two, then coming over to one side of the end about 4 inches in and create a ruffle ( Hard Working Mom Tip: The mesh will want to curl up since its most likely the end of a roll, just place something heavy to help you hold it from curling on you.)

I will make this ruffle on each end about 4 inches in. Your center will have a poof and the ends will have a ruffle. I use a potato chip clip to help me hold each end while I go. After I get the second end ruffled I will then place it into the ties of the wreath frame. When working on the second Pruffle you will undo the last tie and place the end of the send one on top. You will do this around the entire frame.

After you have placed all the pruffles you will want to make sure you fluff as you go. You don’t really need ribbon tails for this wreath with how full it is but I have cut some anyway so we will use them. All ribbon is cut at 12″ inches and dovetailed. I will fold the two ribbons together creating the center and getting a good pinch, taking my fingers and pulling the ends to create my bird then placing it into the ties.

Placing the sign, I like to lay my sign on the wreath to see where I want to place it before attaching it to the frame. I have stapled pipe cleaners onto the back of this sign. We will slip it into the back of the sign and attach it. I have two smaller bows leftover from a project with my design group I will add these to the wreath just on the corner of the sign.

Here you have it a leftover 21-inch mesh wreath with an adorable Bless this mess sign. Thank you for reading we will catch you next time.
