King of Christmas Royal Fir Collection 4-Piece Set with Warm LED Lights Decorated in Metallic Silver and Gold

Christmas decorating has always been one of my favorite parts of the holiday season, especially when it comes to decorating my fireplace and mantle. This year, I knew exactly what I was looking for. I wanted two small trees, a garland, and a wreath that would all coordinate beautifully together.

At first, I thought I would have to purchase each item separately. I wanted everything to be pre-lit with warm white lights, and I really wanted the option to plug in at least the garland and the two trees. I love keeping my Christmas decor lit day and night, but when everything is battery operated, that can get expensive very quickly.

So when King of Christmas reached out and offered to send me their Royal Fir Collection 4-Piece Set with Warm LED Lights for an honest review, I was ecstatic. It had everything I was looking for in one set: two 3-foot trees, a 9-foot garland, and a 24-inch wreath. It truly felt like this set was made for my fireplace, my mantle, and exactly what I needed.

First Impressions: Realistic, Full, and Gorgeous

The King of Christmas Royal Fir Collection 4-Piece Set arrived in one box. When I opened it, it honestly took my breath away. I cannot explain how realistic and beautiful it looked right out of the box.

The set included two 3-foot Royal Fir trees with warm LED lights, one 9-foot Royal Fir garland with warm LED lights, one 24-inch Royal Fir wreath with battery-operated warm LED lights and timer, a storage bag, and protective gloves.

I was so impressed that everything came together. The storage bag and gloves were such a nice bonus because it meant I had everything I needed for setup and storage.

The greenery looked incredibly realistic. You would never know it was artificial, and even the branches felt real to the touch. I have used a lot of artificial Christmas greenery over the years, and this set is by far one of the most realistic I have ever decorated with.

Why I Wanted Warm LED Lights

Having warm LED lights was a must for me. I love a soft, cozy Christmas glow, and I wanted lights that would look beautiful without being too bright or too dim.

LED lights are also energy efficient, which means I can leave them on for long periods of time without worrying as much about energy costs. Since I like to keep my Christmas decor lit day and night, this was a huge selling point.

Another feature I loved is that the garland and trees can be used either corded or battery operated. I have never seen that option before. Usually, you have to choose between corded or battery operated, so having both options was amazing.

The wreath is battery operated and includes a timer, which is perfect for hanging in places where you may not have an outlet nearby.

Set Up: So Much Easier Than Expected

Setting up this set was incredibly easy. Normally, with artificial trees and garlands, you spend so much time fluffing each branch to make everything look full. With this Royal Fir set, fluffing only took a few minutes because the pieces were already so full.

You could not see through the branches at all, which was incredible. The trees, garland, and wreath looked thick, full, and high quality before I even added any decorations.

I thought decorating my fireplace and mantle would take an entire day, but I was able to fully decorate all four pieces in less than two hours. When you start with good quality greenery, it makes the whole process so much easier.

Decorating the Trees

I started with the two small trees. I wanted a metallic gold and silver theme, but once I saw how beautiful the trees looked on their own, I decided to keep the decorations minimal.

For each tree, I used one small poinsettia pick, six small flocked branches, and one dozen 1.5-inch silver and gold metallic ornaments.

I love the look of combining flocked and unflocked branches, and the small flocked picks gave me the best of both worlds. The flocking added a soft winter look without covering up the natural beauty of the Royal Fir branches.

The small metallic ornaments added just enough sparkle while still letting the trees shine.

Decorating the Wreath

For the wreath, I kept the design very simple. I added a double-layer gold and silver satin bow.

The wreath was already so full and realistic that it did not need much at all. The bow gave it an elegant finishing touch without covering up the greenery or lights.

Decorating the Garland

For the garland, I decorated it similarly to the trees. I added two gold and silver satin bows, fifteen flocked branches, one dozen 1.5-inch silver and gold metallic ornaments, and gold satin fabric draping.

I used two rolls of 2.5-inch gold satin ribbon and two rolls of 2.5-inch silver satin ribbon. Each roll was 10 yards, and I still had about half a roll left over.

The garland was so full that it only needed light decorating. The flocked branches added softness, the ornaments added shine, and the bows tied everything together beautifully.

How I Made the Gold and Silver Bows

Each bow had four loops on each side and four tails on each side. The longest tail was about 12 inches long, and the shortest tail was about 7 inches long.

To make the tails, I cut ribbon strips at 14 inches, 16 inches, 18 inches, and 24 inches. I placed the tails in my bow maker first. Then I made three loops at 6 inches on each side and one loop at 5 inches on each side. I secured each bow with a 14-inch zip tie and covered the center with a small piece of ribbon.

These bows gave the garland and wreath such a polished, elegant look.

Adding the Gold Satin Fabric

One of my favorite details was the gold satin fabric draped in the middle of the garland. I had seen this idea in a picture and wanted to try it for myself.

I purchased one yard of gold satin fabric, which was plenty. I cut a piece approximately 15 inches wide by 3 feet long. Then I accordion folded it lengthwise and attached each end to the center of the bows on the garland.

I let the fabric drape down about 6 inches in the middle. This gave the entire mantle such an elegant, high-end look.

Lighting It Up

Once everything was decorated, I added batteries to the wreath battery pack and plugged in the garland and two trees.

When I turned everything on, it took my breath away. The warm LED lights were absolutely beautiful. They were the perfect brightness — not too bright, not too dim — just a soft, warm Christmas glow.

The lights made the metallic ornaments, satin ribbon, flocked branches, and gold fabric look even more beautiful.

Why I Recommend This Set

I would recommend the King of Christmas Royal Fir Collection 4-Piece Set with Warm LED Lights to anyone who wants beautiful, realistic Christmas decor that will last for years.

This set is perfect if you want coordinated Christmas decor, pre-lit greenery, warm white LED lights, realistic branches, easy setup, less fluffing time, a garland and trees that can be corded or battery operated, a wreath with a battery-operated timer, easy storage, and a high-end fireplace and mantle look.
