DIY Dollar Tree Elegant Lace Vase

Supplies Needed:

• Glass vase
• Mod Podge
• Sponge brush
• Lace 
• White Chalk Spray Paint

Steps:

Begin by adding a layer of Mod Podge onto one half of your vase. I’m taking turns doing sides so I don’t smear the paint. I then add the lace fabric onto the vase where I applied Mod Podge. Keep in mind that you need a wide enough piece of fabric to cover your vase both horizontally and vertically. 

When the Mod Podge dries a bit and I can no longer move the fabric around as easily, I’m going to spray a layer of white chalk paint onto that half. You can put as thick of a layer as you’d like depending on how opaque you’d like the lace design transmitted onto the glass. Once the chalk paint is dry, I will paint Mod Podge onto the other half of the vase and cover it with lace. 

Repeating steps as I did with the first half, I will let the paint sit until dry and then SLOWLY remove the lace little by little all the way around the vase.
