Farmhouse style wreath with all Dollar tree supplies for under $10
This is a really small fun project all from Dollar Tree items and is gonna be under $10!
If you love the farmhouse style or succulents then you will love this. It is going to be really easy and simple and and
inexpensive I mean you can’t beat that right?
I love to go to my Dollar Tree and just see what I can come up with for decorations that look high-end without
the price tag. On my recent trip, I came across succulents. I knew I had to do something with these. I gave myself a
budget of $10 to see what I could come up with.
Succulents are so popular right now and I wanted to see what I could come up with using them. I grabbed a floral
ring and some burlap and headed home. I have seen some really cute wreaths with the burlap and thought that would
be the perfect solution.
For this project you will need:
1 Floral foam ring 7.9″
2-3 rolls of burlap ribbon 3″
4-5 Succulents in the pot (you will remove from the succulent from the pot)
2 Floral pins
1 Pipe Cleaner (Fuzzy Stick)
Hot glue
Supplies
Open your burlap roll and your floral foam. Start wrapping the burlap around the floral foam. Insert your first floral pin
on the side of the foam.
Continue to wrap the burlap around the foam.
You want to keep the burlap tight to the foam in order to get a nice finished look. Once you have used the first roll, you
will start the second roll going in the opposite direction of the first roll. Use your second floral pin to start the second roll.
Wrap the second roll around the foam and use a bit of hot glue to secure the end of the burlap to the foam.
Once you have the foam wrapped and you are happy with the look of the burlap, you need to decide where you would like
to place your succulents on your foam. Remove your succulent from the pot and set aside.
Use a sharp object such as a screwdriver or ice pick to make a hole in the foam and burlap
to insert the stem of the succulent.
Add hot glue to the stem before you insert into the hole you made.
You can add a hanger with a bow to your farmhouse wreath by cutting a length of burlap and making a simple
two loop bow. Use the pipe cleaner to go around your bow and attach to the hanger. You can make a small hanger with
the excess pipe cleaner.
Now you have an adorable farmhouse wreath for your home for under $10.
