How To Press A Sublimation Sign With A Cricut Easy Press 2

You ever have an idea and you just want to try it and see if it works and when it does you HAVE to share it with the world? This just happened to me.

I have been having some issues with my heat press and while I wait for a new one I wanted to see if I could use my Cricut Easy Press 2 and guess what, it worked.

When you purchase the sign they come with a blue coating over it and all you do is grab the edge of it and rip that blue coating off. Important thing is to make sure you take that coding and peel it off, the other thing is you will want to make sure you have heat pads and good thicker ones so you do not burn into your table or work station.

I have already printed out my sign on the sublimation paper I am going to lay the sign facedown on top of the paper with the ink side up on the heating pads. I will fold my paper all around the edge of the sign and tape it down.

Next, you will take your Teflon sheet over the sign and paper and grab your heat-press, place it downturn on the heat press then you will want to press down with it as it is heating for you. I would strongly recommend you print out your guidelines from the manufacturer of the heat press so you have it with you and know what the correct times are.

The SIGN is HOT! Don’t touch it yet, let it cool for medium heat. Take that tape off, flip the sign right and Voila!! You have a beautiful wreath sign.
