How To Use Canva For Your Creative Business

Lori here, today I wanted to teach you how to use Canva for your creative business. I use it a lot for my YouTube cover photos and for quotes on Instagram, you can also use it for blog posting, flyers for groups.

If you have not used Canva I suggest you create a profile to start to save your items and be able to use templets. Canva always saves your last project for you but not everyone that you use. What is great about Canva is you can break it down by category, they also have stock photos which are very nice and professional looking.

I want to start with making a Facebook cover for you in Canva you can search from the top of the home page you can search Facebook cover and it will do the proper sizing for you. Remember when making a cover you want it to be in the center and middle of the design so you can see everything from all device types.

This templet here is great with the fade out of the flower it is not too busy, the colors are fun. On the left, you can see different options and how you can change them to fit what you need. You can upload your own photos down at the bottom at the upload.

You can drag and move objects and text where you want to. You can add stickers and other graphics, shapes. When you are finished with your project and its where you like it at the top on the right you can see the download you will want to do suggested PNG or JPG. It will save to your downloads.

You can then go to your Facebook page and where your banner is you can change banner and upload your new one. Remember to not make something with too much on it and that the backgrounds are easy to see and words are easy to read.
